VPANC Accomplishments
During his tenure, VPANC accomplished the following
· Unprecedented growth in the association membership. Over 70 young physicians had joined the association
· Robust financial health with a strongly positive balance despite the national economic crisis. VPANC assets nearly quadrupled.
· Dr. Thinh Nguyen developed two association websites, www.vpanc.com & www.vpanc.net, and created monthly e-Newsletters.
· VPANC organized the first annual picnics
· Large-scale successful annual community health fairs attracted record attendees and volunteers.
· Both “Ask The Doctor” weekly TV series and “Hỏi Bác Sĩ” weekly radio talk shows were running in parallel.
· Association recognized two historical milestones of the association with formal celebrations of the 20th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the scholarship award program.
· Many well-attended and well-received events.
· The special edition of Áo Trắng (white coat) magazine was published.
· VPANC became highly visible in the community with our extensive community outreach programs and press releases. We met the health care information needs of the Vietnamese American community.
